MEDC awards Foster Swift contract to provide export training

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is a public-private agency dedicated to Michigan’s economic and job growth.   The MEDC operates the State Trade Export Program (MI-STEP) a grant program providing financial and training resources to qualified small and medium-sized companies to develop or expand export-related activities.

For the fifth consecutive year, Foster Swift has been awarded a contract to provide Legal Essentials to Export training to qualified companies.  International trade attorney Jean Schtokal  heads up this program which provides a wide range of training including, but not limited to:

  • International Intellectual Property Protection
  • Foreign Agent/Distributor Due Diligence and Agreements
  • Export Control
