Kelley, Nagorski and Van Sicklen Appointed Co-Chairs of DeWitt’s Litigation Practice Group

MADISON | BROOKFIELD | MINNEAPOLIS – The law firm of DeWitt LLP, today announced Olivia M. KelleyJulie N. Nagorski and Barret V. Van Sicklen were appointed as Co-Chairs of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, the largest practice area at DeWitt. Kelley practices primarily from DeWitt’s Brookfield office, Nagorski from its Minneapolis office, and Van Sicklen from the Madison office.

About Olivia Kelley
Kelley continually works with clients to assess and address their legal obligations and avoid potential issues surrounding the preservation and handling of electronic information. Primarily in the context of litigation, Olivia assists clients with the preservation, production and acquisition of electronic information. As our world moves toward a “paperless” world, and the volume of electronically stored information continues to grow exponentially, Olivia ensures that no client falls behind the technology curve. She earned her J.D., cum laude, and B.A., from Marquette University Law School.

About Julie Nagorski
Nagorski has significant experience litigating disputes in numerous areas of the law, with a focus on real property and construction disputes. In addition to her substantial litigation experience, Julie has taken many cases through jury and bench trials and has argued multiple cases in front of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Julie represents a variety of clients, from businesses, to trusts, to families and individuals, with a far-reaching range of needs, including disputes in the areas of commercial, business, financial services, real estate and construction litigation. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.A., with highest honors, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

About Barret Van Sicklen
Van Sicklen has a diverse practice, focusing primarily on complex business disputes and labor and employment litigation. Barret provides skilled representation to his clients in state and federal courts, as well as before various administrative agencies. He has handled a wide array of general commercial litigation matters and assists companies with the diverse and evolving legal problems they may face, including shareholder/partnership disputes, contract issues, indemnification, collecting on unpaid accounts, landlord/tenant, theft of company information, and insurance coverage issues, to name a few. He earned his J.D., from the University of Wisconsin Law School and B.A., from the University of Chicago.
