DeWitt Welcomes Partner Jonathan E. Sopha to the Firm

GREEN BAY | MADISON | MILWAUKEE | MINNEAPOLIS –DeWitt LLP today announced the addition of partner Jonathan E. Sopha to the firm’s metro-Milwaukee office.  Sopha is a member of DeWitt’s Business and Real Estate practice groups.

He focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate and business matters.  With more than 20 years of legal experience in private practice and as in-house counsel, Sopha recognizes the importance of advising on legal risks and strategy while remaining aware of client business goals.   His experience includes navigating purchase and sale negotiations, leasing transactions, governmental permitting and approvals, condominiums and community associations, real estate investment arrangements, financing, title issues, construction and design services agreements, franchises, general contracting, business formation and general business transactions.

He earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Sopha, who is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, is an Adjunct Professor in Real Estate Finance and Development at Marquette University Law School and is a Director of the Pewaukee Sustainability Advisory Group.
