Congratulations to our Member firms, Gillespie Macandrew (Ross MacRae and Nicola Murray),  Shibley Righton (Marlin Horst) and 7Wise (Lars Lundberg and Christine Roos) on their involvement in assisting Johnson and Johnson Foundation Scotland (JJFS) in connection with a significant cross border funds investment. The Women’s and Children’s Health Technology Fun was established, with JJFS as a key initial investor, to invest in health tech firms that address the health needs of women, children, and adolescents or make health systems more resilient. The Fund has US$30 million in commitments and looks towards achieving an ultimate fund size of more than US$100 million. It expects to make its first investments in Q1 2022.

Gillespie Macandrew acted as lead counsel to JJFS with support from Shibley Righton and 7Wise on matters of Canadian and Swedish law respectively.
