Ater Wynne Adds Two New Attorneys to Seattle Office

Ater Wynne’s Business Group has added Ava Xiaoqiu Wang as Senior Counsel and Ashley K. Long as Of Counsel in its Seattle office.

Wang’s practice is focused primarily in American immigration law.  She has extensive experience in the areas of employment visa and the EB-5 investment program, particularly designation of a regional center and investor’s I-526 and I-829. Wang is one of two Chinese law students ever awarded a full scholarship from Harvard University.  She also earned an LLM in International Banking from Boston University School of Law and an SJD in US Federal Banking Regulations from Duke University School of Law.

Long’s practice focuses on trademark selection, application, and registration. She has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, from apparel retailers through video game studios. Prior to joining Ater Wynne, she worked in prominent trademark practices in New England. In addition to practicing law, Long taught trademark law, unfair competition law, and copyright law at Boston area law schools. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Alfred University and her Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law.
